Treat Dog Training is an easy way
Have you ever been to the pet store and seen those people who seem to be professional dog owners? You know the ones, their dogs don\'t pull, bark, or stray from their owners side. Have you been jealous of these people and wished that your dog was half as well trained as theirs? Well, you don\'t have to be jealous any more. I\'m going to show you how you can have a dog that others are envious of.
Three keys to successful dog obedience training: First, make sure before you begin training your dog that he\'s had plenty of exercise. You\'ll want to allow at least 30 minutes of hard playing to let them get it out of their system before you start your dog obedience training. Your dog will be much more relaxed after a good workout and therefore much more open to the training. Next, make sure you have treats on hand for the training session. The idea is to immediately and profusely reward and praise your dog when he heeds your commands. Treat training is a really easy way to teach your dog obedience training. Just make sure that you also praise your dog mightily when he obeys. Your love and approval is more important to your dog than any treat would ever be.
Finally, make sure you use the same commands every time. You need to make sure that everyone uses the same commands to reinforce what you\'re teaching. It\'s best to use not only a verbal command, but a physical gesture as well. To teach your dog to stay, hold your hand out in front of you toward your dog, like you\'re directing traffic. Continue repeating the command verbally while making this gesture. The more ways you explain to your dog what you want him to do, the easier it will be for him to comply.
One quick note on dog obedience training. Don\'t ever spank or hit your dog. Use only positive reinforcement for maximum results. To correct your dog, simply turn your back to him for 20 to 30 seconds and ignore him. He\'ll learn that the unwanted behavior will lead to being ignored. Since this is the last thing a pack animal wants, he will stop the behavior immediately.
